The GC1-SYS GhostCord cordless pad functions with absolutely no cords between the pad and the monitor! The cordless pad talks to GhostCord Wireless Monitor or EconomyCare+ Central Monitor using wireless technology with both an audible and visual alert. The wireless pad, used with the cordless transmitter insert (included) and GhostCord monitor, will trigger the fall alarm when weight is removed from the pad itself. These weight-sensitive pressure pads are for Bed Monitors, Chair Monitors and Toilet Monitor use. When connected to a fall alarm monitor, the pressure pad will trigger the monitor when weight is removed from the pressure pad itself. Do not fold or immerse pressure pad in any solution. The Fall Alarm Pressure Pad can be wiped cleaned by using disinfectant wipes or anti-bacterial cleaner. To minimize spreading of infection, single patient use is recommended. These weight-sensitive Pressure Pads for Bed Monitor, Chair Monitor and Toilet Monitor use can be used as a wireless system as well. When weight is removed form the Pressure Pad it triggers the Wireless Transmitter, which sends a signal to the GhostCord Monitor.
